The Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) is a missile defense program that is designed to counter incoming hypersonic missiles during their glide phase of flight. GPI will include integration of new interceptors as well as modifications to the Aegis Weapon System (AWS). Its an exciting time to be a part of this highly visible team! We are seeking a Program Manager (PM) for execution of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) contract for the GPI AWS program which includes:
• Coordination within a multi-vendor, competitive acquisition environment
• Design Study / Definition
• ASPEC / B1 Requirements Development
• Working Group Support
• Program Plans and SRR OE Collection

This position will include regular customer and LM senior management reviews, coordination with suppliers, integration, and coordination with all LM functional areas and production locations as they execute.

This position will also be the primary interface with the MDA customer for the aforementioned activities.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have an active Secret clearance.

Team-building and interpersonal skills leading cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive issues/ actions to closure.

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to address complex matters / solutions with program team and senior leadership.

Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and processes associated with development, implementation, and management of cost and schedule baselines.

Schedule and financial performance management experience.

Risk and opportunity management experience.
Ability to travel to support key program events.
Desired Skills:
Prior experience working with US military customer and stakeholders with demonstrated performance in building strong relationships.

Prior work within a multi-vendor environment.

Prior Proposal Development efforts as Proposal Manager or Capture Manager.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
