We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our client’s maintenance department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aircraft maintenance, with a proven track record in management positions within Part 145 repair stations. Technical expertise in aircraft parts and components is essential, and experience with defense contractors is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site, exempt position in Reno, Nevada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance department, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize maintenance operations, improve efficiency, and drive business growth.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Direct and coordinate maintenance operations to meet customer deadlines and service level agreements.
- Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to support efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and contracts to expand the company's maintenance services.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the maintenance department.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency measures to optimize departmental profitability.
