Description:Become a member of LM’s Global Business Development & Strategy (GBDS) Transformation team! To help GBDS on this journey we are looking for a qualified candidate for the position of the GBDS Data Governance and Management Lead working to achieve the GBDS transformation vision of an insight-rich function where team members of all levels have access to data and information that is fit for use at the speed of relevance.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Lead and facilitate a data governance processes across GBDS data stewards to ensure GBDS data remains common across the business areas while evolving with business needs
• Support the creation of the GBDS data management strategy and maintain authoritative functional data models and architecture.
• Collaborate with the Technical Data Steward to ensure GBDS systems are capturing, storing, according to the GBDS data management strategy
• Monitor data quality of GBDS governed data to ensure business rules are met
• Lead data enrichment activities as necessary to improve data quality

This position is expected to be a 2–3-year assignment and upon conclusion of rotation the successful candidate would need to compete for another position.

US Citizenship is required for the role due to DoD related systems access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working in aerospace and defense industry or in a large federally regulated organization

• Experience working in data management and data architecture

• Familiar with business processes around business development strategy, capture management, and sales

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
Desired Skills:
• Experience facilitating governance processes or other cross-boundary efforts to converge decision making including working through group decisions and multiple viewpoints.
• Familiarity with the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)
• Experience with PowerBusinessIntelligence (PowerBI)
• Experience working with opportunity management and customer relationship management tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $148,200 - $279,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $128,900 - $247,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
