Job Description SummaryIn this role you will be contributing to the design and development of the latest technologies of Fuel Cell and Hybrid turboprop engines.
You will join the Test System Engineering (TSE) team and will be responsible for the electrical section of the test cell facilities and test enabling hardware.
In this role you will be mainly tasked for the integration of high power, high voltage systems for electrical and hybrid propulsion systems, testing and supporting data acquisition and controls teams of the test facilities.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Managing the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of test cell modifications and upgrades.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring time and financial commitments are met.
  • Approach issues with a logical and analytical mindset.
  • Ensure that projects comply with GE Aviation Design Practices to drive and improve quality and safety.
  • Present accurate project deliverables to stakeholders, escalating issues and proposing solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Facilitate communication with broader engineering teams to resolve issues as needed.
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

Desired REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelors/master’s degree in, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering , or related disciplines.
  • Previous experience in High Voltage/Power applications.
  • Previous experience with electric motor propulsion systems.
  • Solid project leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills,
  • Good proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with aero-engines or electrical testing or test cells.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to influence and assists others to complete tasks on time.
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to write design RFQ procurement specifications.
