IVQ Manager - Space Navigation Ground Segment (f/m)

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an IVQ Manager (f/m) to join our ground segment systems engineering and integration department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing ground segments for our space systems. As part of the ground segment systems engineering and integration team, you will be involved in integration, validation and qualification of EGNOS v3 ground system.

Your challenges:

• Contribute to the definition of the ground system IVQ strategy for EGNOS v3 ground system,
• Lead IVQ activities within the project, including sub-contracted activities, for site test phases,
• Interface directly with the customer to organize site IVQ phases,
• Manage IVQ activity execution on the customer sites (some travels required),
• Supervise and follow-up technical integration activities, report technical progress synthesis,
• Follow-up testcases & test procedures definition consistently with plans,
• Follow-up defects & corrections, contribute to NRB,
• Harmonize methods within the IVQ team,
• Interface with system design and qualification teams, and with sub-system teams.

Your profile:

• Engineering degree or equivalent,
• Experience in systems engineering or integration/validation of a complex system,
• Proven technical competences for one or several information systemdomains (IT, network, software development, cyber-security, databases…),
• Experience of large information system project, in transnational,
• Ability to manage operationally a team,
• Proven leadership skills, Customer orientation,
• Proactivity and ability to stand back,
• Knowledge in ground segments or space domains would be a plus,
• Advanced level English required.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
