A rare, yet exciting opportunity to join British Airways as an International Industrial Relations Manager has arisen for up to a 12-month secondment/fixed term contract. You will be accountable for defining and delivering our international IR strategy across 63 countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on complex and high risk business issues, working closely with legal counsel.
  • Develop robust communication channels across the organisation, that support negotiation and decision making at all levels.
  • Work closely with the International People Partnering team to ensure high-quality changes to our CBAs, Employment Handbooks and policies and alignment to our UK policies, where possible.
  • The successful candidate would need to be able to travel to our international offices, as required.
About You:
  • Takes a pragmatic approach, balancing the customer and business needs when decision making, ensuring we remain aligned to the core principles of the ER strategy.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple complex issues.
  • Champions innovation and agility and not afraid to challenge the norm to drive positive business change.
  • Experience of working at a senior level in a complex organisation is essential.
