Job Description:
Intern – Certification Technical Directorate
Avionics and Electric team within the Certification Technical Directorate at Airbus India is looking for an intern to support the airworthiness activities on following topics:
- Avionics Pin Programming for a given customer configuration.
- Electrical power centers configuration tables for a customer version.
- Flight Management System.
As an Airworthiness Engineer (AE) you are expected to perform the following task:
- Analyze/Assess the technical change with respect to the general aircraft system.
- Allocates the changes to him/herself in the Airbus tools as Airworthiness mod Leader.
- Reviews the change dossier from the Design Office, classifies the change with regard to EASA Part 21 criteria. Within Airbus tool.
- Appraises the design change, identifies the applicable requirements within Airbus tool and verifies the compliance/justification to applicable requirements provided by the Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE), if relevant.
- Creates the Modification Approval Summary (MAS) within Airbus tool, as Airworthiness Engineer (AE) or communicate specific refusal to the CVE and Design responsible.
- Knowledge of tools (AirCAM, ICC, ACC2, …)
Required Education:
- B.Tech./M.Tech. in Aerospace, Avionics and/or Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical
Required skills and expertise:
- Basic aerospace domain knowledge
- General aircraft system knowledge
- Knowledge of control systems, flight control and guidance.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Exposure to Avionic and Electrical systems design is an added advantage.
- Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
