The role:

You will be accountable for ensuring the maximisation of IAG Cargo’s revenue, by managing a team to optimise the contribution generated from a group of routes. We will ask you to lead your team in determining and implementing inventory strategies to deliver route and other commercial targets (including revenue, yield, and Load Factor). 

The following will be key to your success –

  • Lead and inspire a team of analysts to deliver contribution targets through their role delivery.
  • Define and deliver Inventory Strategies to ensure the team delivers optimal inventory setup and optimisation, based on historical and market information.
  • Regular and ad-hoc analysis to drive key decision-making activity in Revenue Management at IAG Cargo.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure your Team (up to 7 analysts) delivers accurate Inventory set-up to support Operational readiness constraints and limitations while also maximising flight capacity, taking risk by using baggage assumptions and overbooking profiles to maximise selling opportunities while ensuring strong handover performance.
  • Analyse and understand key business drivers to support effective route group/ market decision-making.
  • Take ownership of key Inventory deliverables in areas such as Overbooking, Baggage, Payload accuracy and drive this across the entire Inventory team.
  • Support on transformation and continuous improvement projects,
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on performance, keeping the business informed of performance and action plans,
  • Collaborate effectively with commercial functions to identify and drive new initiatives
  • Ensure strong utilisation of IAGC capacity

  • Strong analytical ability, judgement and decision-making
  • Able to find solutions to complex, cross-functional problems
  • Self- starter: able to work on own initiative, make decisions and implement
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Ability to coach and develop a team in a high performance leadership environment

Your experience:

  • Rapid analysis and Commercial decision making
  • Experience in Revenue Management
  • Experienced people manager with a passion for people development
  • Manage conflicting and changing demands in a high pressure environment
  • Stakeholder management
  • Expertise in using Excel
