Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a KC-46 Support and Training - Maintenance, Modification & Retrofit Program Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL; Everett or Tukwila, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Oklahoma City, OK or San Antonio, TX.

The selected candidate will join a One Boeing team dedicated to development, production, operations, and sustainment of the KC-46 Pegasus for the United States Air Force (USAF) and global allies. This team member will lead planning and execution of major KC-46 modifications and improvements, including Aerial Refueling, Remove Vision System, and Block I Mission Systems. Additionally, the Program Manager will lead Boeings support to depot maintenance and establishment of depot capability.

In support of the growing KC-46 fleet, the Program Manager will be the primary customer interface for proposing, planning, and executing maintenance, modification, and retrofit. This person will report to the KC-46 Support and Training Program Manager and will be accountable to the KC-46 and Mobility and Training Aircraft Services Program Management teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years experience in program or project management
  • 5+ years experience in implementation of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Lean+/10X
  • 3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Experience with USAF acquisition and execution of USAF contracts
  • Experience with Integrated Product Support
  • Understanding of Boeing supply chain and engineering processes
  • Experience with aircraft operations and maintenance
  • Experience with engineering processes

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $167,450 - $261,050
