The role:

Key Account Manager Toronto. This is a remote role with extensive duty travel requirements.

What you’ll do:

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver revenue by understanding customer needs and matching to relevant products
  • Analyse data and use insights to drive revenue generating/share shifting actions
  • Deep penetration of decision-making unit in accounts to expand influence map
  • Conduct high touch performance reviews to drive deal performance via face to face
  • Negotiation of tailored deals, implementing SMA activities
  • Leverage waiver and favour budget allocation to improve return of investment
  • Sourcing new business opportunities
  • Upsell opportunities to existing customer base
  • Delivery of face to face and digital conferencing/training
  • Proactively source spanet intel and insights and feedback
  • Build and complete high touch account development plans for portfolios
  • Strengthen relationships by acting as a touchpoint for escalation of issues or waiver/favour initiation
  • Face of BA/IB to the spanet, and represent the views from spanet
  • Representation for BA/IB and collaboration with joint partners
  • Promote, educate and drive NDC adoption across spanet
What you’ll bring to British Airways:

As an experienced CRM, (ideally with Salesforce) with particular experience within the Canadian Trade and Agency industry, youll lead some of our top Leisure partners & agencies. Working alongside our Atlantic joint business partners including American Airlines, youll demonstrate your strategic mindset to meet and exceed our revenue targets. Youll have a passion for delighting customers and youll use multiple channels to understand interactions and deliver a truly customer focused service. Airline and or travel proven experience is highly desirable.

  • Digitally minded - demonstration of utilizing digital selling and other innovative ways of working to achieve revenue targets
  • CRM management
  • Engaging audiences via remote live events, etc.
  • Sophisticated communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong work ethic
  • Drive and ambition needed to exceed targets
  • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to evaluate data and metrics successfully to ensure focus on commercial opportunities (essential)
  • Demonstration of utilising digital selling and other innovative ways of working to achieve revenue targets
  • Experience of building productive working internal and external relationships in a multicultural hub-based environment

Your experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years account management or equivalent commercial experience (desirable)
  • CRM experience
  • Airline or Travel Agency Sales experience preferred
  • Language relevant to the spanet served (French-speaker preferred)
