The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Aftermarket Production Coordinator (APC) will provide guidance for the Depot partner and Operations to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support of production delivery schedule. 

What You Will Do:

o Serve as the lead P&W-ME integrator and liaison for AFSC customers.  This responsibility includes addressing current readiness needs, understandings customer concerns, collecting intel, building relationships, and working to develop the best solutions for future requirements in close coordination with PW Program Offices and Focals

o Executive level resource for problem solving and Course Of Action (COA) development – at leadership discretion and tasking, act as focal point for ME leadership to hand over a problem to develop COAs for consideration based on ownership of relationships and detailed understanding of customer influencers and processes.  

Lead for P&W employee travel to meet with and support AFSC customers, to include hosting meetings at Customer Locations and P&W Locations.

o Ensure P&W is in full compliance with customer visitation criteria and compliance instructions

 Be the AFSC’s advocate within P&W

o Facilitate and travel to join local customer(s) at P&W Meetings, as required

Serve as primary advisors to P&W-ME Senior Leadership Team on the most effective approach to maintain positive relationships with customers identified in matrix below.  Identify, coordinate and facilitate customer/stakeholder engagements

In full coordination with Programs and Focals, serve as primary customer conduit for P&W-ME Strategic, Operational and Tactical communications

Identify and support Program and Integrated Customer Solutions opportunities

Gather and disseminate intelligence from the customer base into P&W programs

Inform and guide P&W campaign strategy development teams with customer perspective, situational intelligence and relevant field data

o Provide and serve as independent programmatic and technical consulting, to P&W Programs, Proposals, Strategies, and campaigns as requested

Represent P&W at Official Government and/or DOD Industry Events or Gatherings

o Fulfill lead owner and execution role for various customer-equity Shows & Exhibits

Serve as means of delivery, as required, for electronic media and/or paper of proposals, briefings, reports, etc. to the customer

Facilitate and manage all Corporate Citizenship and Sponsorship activities in each respective geographical area to include representing P&W at all related events

Ensure close coordination with other USAF CIT Members, and in particular within the AFMC enterprise

Qualifications You Must Have:                                                                                     

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years’ experience related to turbine engines; or an advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Recent experience with the Air Force Sustainment Center (propulsion focused) or equivalent experience dealing with customers is required.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Travel in support of management meetings and customer events are expected.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and schedules; and familiarity with aircraft turbofan engine hardware, operation, and flight performance. 
  • Understanding of USAF Product Support.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
