Job Description SummaryLean& Operations Leader partners with Turkey Technology Center Advanced Technologies Organization leadership team, systems organizations to integrate program, site priorities & technical work scope with the internal planning processes, manages related operational plans.
Implements and runs a process and rhythm in place to continuously assess priorities alignment with product line objectives using engineering’s planning and execution data. Responsible for driving lean across the section for delivering sustainable results, as measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Training and coaching employees at all levels. Focusing on continuous improvement on processes. In-depth understanding of technical concepts and principles within the role/function.
Primary focal and communicator for providing connectivity related to operational topics to other business functions including Finance, Human Resources, Product Operations and Global Operations leadership.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in identifying and tracking performance metrics around Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
  • Facilitate operating reviews (DM, WOR, MOR..) for the Section and related action plans, continuously assess and improve the process to drive better outcomes
  • Point of contact and act as extended member of ATO Global Lean& Operations teams
  • Manage and drive kaizen process to enable continuous improvement
  • Be responsible for identifying problems and work towards solving them using lean tools and methods
  • Partner closely with other teams/departments/functions across organization to prioritize and improve critical processes in organization
  • Coach and develop team members at all levels to help them build their lean skills and become lean practitioners
  • Use technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
  • Ensure engineering teams operations meets financial planning/targets, interface with global Operations teams lead operations within the section for budget/headcount, strategic workforce planning activities, conduct regular rhythm
  • Ensure external funding programs are executed within agreed timeline and budget per Funding agencies needs, facilitate interactions between engineering leaders and the external agencies
  • Partner with the leaders within section for internal and global activities like QMIs, all hands, presence in relevant global mtgs etc..
