The Leased Facilities Manager will oversee and be responsible for the support of day to day facility operations of a real estate portfolio comprised of airport and commercial space within a varied geographic region and manage the relationship with the lessor and internal clients.
Responsibilities:Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the landlords and internal customersManage contracted facility service providers in accordance with contractual requirements and scope of workEstablish and manage the annual operating budgets for the facility management services for each facilityBe responsible to monitor and manage facility infrastructures within leased facilities including HVAC, electrical and fire suppressionMonitor SLAs as per contract and perform audits as required to ensure that Landlord is meeting their obligations.Prepare reports for senior management to demonstrate performance oof vendors/landlords and internal client resolution of issuesEnsure offices are safe, up to code, meet Health and Safety requirements and are fully operationalCoordinate site safety programs such as Emergency Procedures GuidelinesManage essential facilities management servicesAssist in office moves and/or changesMaintain updated floor plansManage PO’s and invoices`Liaise with Corporate Security, Environment and other teams within Corporate Real Estate
QualificationsCollege degree (or equivalent) in Facility Management or Real Estate At least five (5) years’ experience in real estate or facility managementStrong and effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to be assertive while maintaining diplomacy and political awarenessStrong leadership skillsAbility to resolve conflictsExcellent time management skills, ability to shift priorities on an ad hoc basisOrganized and disciplinedHighly self-motivated, entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated and self-directedMust be able to travelAvailable for occasional weekend and evening work in case of emergencies or special eventsDetail orientedProficient in all MS Office productsAble to read floor plans and utilize CAD (an asset)
