As a Logistics Manager II, youll be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of contract related logistics efforts and successfully managing all logistics and depot support issues for our programs. Youll oversee and control the resources required to execute contracts in a cost effective and timely manner, interface with the customer and support customer requests, maintain overall responsibility for the logistics support function, and the development and execution of customer training programs and materials.

Responsibilities:
- Managing Buyers, Program Finance, Procurement Quality Assurance and warehousing functions.
- Ensure that procurement is accomplished in accordance with federal regulations from the customer, SNC and FAA Federal Aviation Regulations
- Adjust workforce priorities in accordance with customer and program needs.
- Perform ICP Inventory analysis and determine stocking levels
- Experience in Warehousing practices
- Receiving
- Storage
- Shipping
- Parts retrograde
- Attend Customer and Program Interface meetings.
- Institute an Obsolescence Management (DMSMS) program
- Serviceability of In-House Repairs
- System for bringing Non-RFI components back into a RFI status
- Qualify new vendors into the parts and repair base.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Typically, 8+ years of progressive logistics experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.
- In-depth understanding of ITAR regulations as they apply to the import and export of goods
- Relevant experience working with logistics/warehouse environment and warehouse management systems
- Progressive experience with the practical application of Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
- Ability to travel extensively, often overseas
- Prior experience with handling and managing hazardous/dangerous goods and materials
- Previous management experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Homeland Security Acquisition Regulations.
- Experience with Corporate Procurement Practices
- Experience with DLA and NAVICP for ordering of parts
- Procurement of aviation critical safety items
- Experience with OEM and PMA parts
- Track record of executing mission priorities
- Familiarity with requirements of aviation repair and aircraft modification.
- Familiarity with military parts reporting systems.
