• Managing and driving transformation projects on the logistics activities (activity transfers, process improvement, logistics flows/means modification, etc.) 
• Define logistics methods and processes to perform the logistics operations 
• Drive the continuous improvement initiatives of the logistics activities 
• Design and build the activity monitoring indicators (KPIs, WIP, etc.) 
• Define and roll out the site’s project roadmap 
• Work closely with Operations managers and the quality manager throughout the life of each project and to identify where engineering support is needed 
• Lead one or more of the projects in the roadmap 
• Identify project opportunities, associated savings (SQDC&T) and resources necessary to implement them. 
• Actively take part in the development of logistics and industrial services in Mobile by building a trust relationship with our customer, identifying new market opportunities and sizing the necessary organization to set it up. 
• When receiving new work specifications and scope changes, measure the impact and/or effort (recurring and non-recurring) to implement solutions to present a technical and commercial offer 
• Represent Dahers lean management initiatives (Seed) methodology for project management and continuous improvement within the team 
• Manage the engineering resource planning (workload/capacity) on all projects, operational continuous improvement and methods 
• Develop the engineering team’s individual and group skills 
• Participate in the daily organization of the management team in Mobile 
• Take part in the operations management routines to communicate on projects and share engineering messages 
• Carry general management’s messages over to the team and to our customers 
• Report the project roadmap to the customer to provide the adequate visibility and share progress/commitments in regard to action plans. 
• Participate actively in customer meetings (daily/weekly reviews, steering committees, contract reviews, etc.) 

Position Requirements:

• Engineering manager – Project manager 
• Minimum required education: Engineering degree 
• Major in logistics, supply chain and/or production 
• Minimum experience of 6-9 years in industrial logistics 
• Understanding aerospace industry requirements and expectations
• Master the Office Suite

Profile and other information related to the position

The range for this role’s base salary is $85,000-100,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
