Position Summary
- Ensure compliance on certification of origin under USMCA, Chile, Colombia & CA trade agreements.
- Ensure compliance on NOM´s using certificates issued by verification units (NYCE).
- Monitor import and export operations and ensure compliance with legal provisions on foreign trade in time and form.
- Manages import and export activities, as well as to be in constant communication with customs agents to deliver the required information for the release of goods from customs.
- Accountable for managing the procedures and documentation controls for the Supply Chain Security programs CTPAT-OEA.
- Accountable for managing the procedures and documentation controls for Annex 24 & Annex 30.

Responsibilities
- Accountable to provide the necessary documentation to customs agents, as well as the necessary information that they require for the release of the merchandise from the different customs, both in import and in export.
- Communication with the authority offices involved with Foreign Trade (SE, SAT)
- Monitor customs agents for timely processing of monthly and weekly of virtual pediments.
- Accountable to require the necessary documentation to suppliers to calculate and certificate origin under USMCA, Chile, Colombia & CA trade agreements.
- Audit and record vendor invoices (forwarders and customs agents) for scheduling payments and reconciliation of PECE monthly balances.
- Manages the export shipments and comply with the requirements by Customs and Foreign Trade Laws.
- Responsible for the company’s compliance, updating and renewal of CTPAT Supply Chain Security programs for the United States and OEA in Mexico.
- Accountable to attend SAT Audits and determine the correct customs value of the imports.
- Accountable to control Annex 24 inventory versus physical inventory.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in international trade or similar
- Level of English: Proficient
- Subject matter expert: CTPAT, international procurement, export management, certification of origin, Annex 24, logistics and international transportation methods management with customs agents and suppliers abroad.
- Experience: 5 years in similar position in automotive or engineering manufacturing industries is a must.
