Job Description:

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, this position involves overseeing the daily operations of the Maintenance Hangar Operation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies, and maintaining the highest standards of aircraft quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation Maintenance Management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding rigorous safety standards.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Supervise, train, and direct all hangar personnel assigned to the maintenance department.
  • Plan and control all aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Maintain all maintenance records, checking mechanical irregularities, and ensured all discrepancies were properly addressed.
  • Ensure all aircraft are properly maintained in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, ADs, and Operations Specifications D&E, in accordance with the Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manuals.
  • Ensure all aircraft are reweighed as directed by 14 CFR 135.185.
  • Ensure work performed on TSC’s aircraft is performed by properly trained and qualified personnel.
  • Liaising with all non-company persons or approved maintenance providers performing maintenance on TSC aircraft.
  • Schedule and track routine maintenance, time-limited component changes, and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure proper maintenance record entries are made.
  • Removing from service any aircraft that are unsafe, or that do not comply with Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensure parts and components are ordered and received on a timely basis.
  • Initiate requisitions for stock and material required.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are in serviceable condition.
  • Assist with the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System.
  • Ensuring that all operations processes and procedures include risk management mitigation as specified in the safety management system.
  • Ensuring that personnel under his/her authority participate effectively in the safety management system.
Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to work a 12-shift covering 24/7.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance programs and control system for the aircraft operated.
  • Must be highly knowledgeable of the company's General Maintenance Manual, Aircraft Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manual, inspection and maintenance specifications, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and applicable portions of the Operations Manual.
  • Maintains close liaison with local FAA on maintenance matters.
  • Required to hold a current and valid airman certificate with airframe and power plant ratings.

Education:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have an A&P Certificate

Experience:

  • Must have at least (5 to 7) years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Must have previous Maintenance Management Experience.
  • Must have held previous leadership experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be flexible and ready for changes in schedules and plans.
  • The ability to adhere to strict time schedules, attendance policies, and appearance standards is non-negotiable.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must regularly be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
