Norwegian is looking for a professional with expertise in aviation maintenance and compliance.
In this role you will lead the work to develop manuals and procedures in close collaboration with the internal department managers, both P-145 and CAMO.
Your focus includes supporting the establishment of a sustainable Safety Management System within Part-145, ensuring adherence to safety standards while driving continuous improvement.
The position Maintenance Support Manager is located at OSL and reports to Director Mainetance.

You are our ideal candidate if:
- Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, Mechanical Engineering, or previous experience as a licensed aircraft engineer with additional education
- In-depth knowledge of Part-145 regulations and requirements.
- Familiarity with CAMO functions and integration with Part-145.
- Good project Management skills.
- Understanding of aviation safety management systems and practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Great leadership abilities with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of budgeting and financial management within a maintenance department.
- Strong commitment to maintaining and promoting safety standards.
- Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and projects.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Acting as project lead and participate in internal projects.
- Participating in daily and strategic work of department management group.
- Support and coordinate tool, equipment handling and strategy within NOA Part-145.
- Input to Budget and follow up of cost within own area.
- Supporting safety & compliance managers in audits and investigations
- Procedure and process development
- Tool/equipment strategy and support to local tool coordinators
- Responsible for tool p/n registration and requirements in the maintenance management system (MMS)
- Follow up suppliers within own scope.
