Description:The Work
Manage the Quality Assurance System at Sikorsky Aircraft’s Shelton Overhaul and Repair Operations, in compliance with CFR Part 145, EASA 145 and AS9100. (Sikorsky Overhaul and Repair Station includes O&R Blades, Dynamic Components and Avionics).

Manage a team of Quality Engineers to provide technical solutions to inquiries related to the products for which the Repair Station is rated, maintains contact with all departments across Sikorsky to resolve technical inquires, and provides such information to the requesting individuals.

Lead improvements through use of Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement processes and tools as well as ensuring the training and talent development for quality employees.

Ensure Quality Costs Reporting and Corrective Action efforts are in place and monitored. 7. Provide management support (data and metrics) for the periodic quality reviews; Quality Council, CCAB, MORs, DCMA C/A reviews.

Manage O&R supplier performance through metrics, receiving inspection and off-load inspection. Evaluate supplier corrective actions. Monitor O&R DQR off-load program

Additional areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: Quality Engineering, Product Assurance, Process Certification, O&R Document Management System (Policy & Process Document Library), FOD Prevention Program, Non-Destructive Test, FAA Repair Station Manual, Audit Management, PQDR/Warranty Management, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Escapes Management.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or Technical Aviation Background of 10+ years.
Operating knowledge of FAA Regulations 21, 43, 91 & 145.
Operating knowledge of AS9100 and the ability to interact with FAA, EASA, DCMA and Customers.
Desired Skills:
BS in Engineering or Technical Aviation Background 10+ years.

Operating knowledge of FAA Regulations 21, 43, 91 & 145.

Operating knowledge of AS9100, AS9110 and the ability to interact with FAA, EASA, DCMA and Customers.

Prior experience in a managerial position.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
