About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing QR Cargos Global Pricing strategy in multiple regions. The role will involve management of all functions related to cargo pricing. Collaborating with regional sales, global sales, inventory management, network planning, revenue integrity and data teams to ensure alignment with business goals, adjusting pricing based on spanet fluctuations and ensure pricing compliance within a defined framework.

Additionally, you will be closely working with project management, IT and external vendors to help shape the future of cargo pricing with transformation projects.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

• Develop and implement QR Cargos Global Pricing strategy in multiple regions, based on spanet analysis, customer needs and competitor pricing.
• Ensure alignment of pricing strategies with the companys overall business objectives and profitability targets.
• Evaluate supply and demand trends, fuel surcharges, regulatory changes and geopolitical factors which may impact pricing.
• Monitor and analyze spanet trends, industry trends and changes to spanet pricing to maintain competitive pricing structure.
• Analyze, track and report on key performance metrics, including but not limited to, price gap to spanet, fair spanet share, business mix and various pricing governance metrics.
• Manage and optimize pricing systems and tools to maximize short term, medium term and long terms revenue and contribution.
• Oversee and manage the price negotiation of RFPs and contracts for free sale, allotments, LTFPs, charters and interline businesses.
• Play a pivotal role in driving the cargo pricing transformation project, ensuring QR Cargo Pricing technology continues to lead and steer the industry
• Work collaboratively with Project Management, IT, Finance, business SMEs and vendors to deliver end-to-end transformation.
• Be an ambassador to drive change by communicating change management and adoption of new systems and tools globally
• Monitor quality of pricing governance through defined metrics and ensure appropriate action and follow up is implemented to uphold standards.
• Support revenue integrity in driving visibility and conformance amongst the regions.
• Lead continuous improvement of pricing processes so that QR Cargo stays ahead of the competition in terms of automation, personalization, distribution, and speed to spanet.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in analytical positions within airline industry
• Experience in Cargo Pricing and/ or revenue management
• Track record of negotiating and implementing international contracts ▪ Experience in project management and business transformation
• Experience with an international network airline
• At least a minimum 3 years job-related in a managerial capacity
