About the role
Identify, develop, recommend, and implement new and enhanced codeshare partnership opportunities to support the offline market expansion. Evaluate codeshare partnerships with airline partners and intermodal operators through negotiation of commercially viable partnership agreements that sustain commercial objectives and provide suitable travel itineraries with seamless access to/from global markets.
Organise and proactively lead strategic partner engagement, nurture collaborative relationship to drive business growth and market expansion, manage Joint Management Committee meetings, coordinate with key internal stakeholders across various business domains to ensure seamless end to end customer experience is delivered.
What you will do
- Manage and nurture relationships through constant engagement with counterparts in the partner organisation to deliver core objectives of the partnership.
- Organise and lead assigned partnership governance meetings to discuss partnership performance, competitive landscape, customer service and operation related issues, agree action plans to address emerging issues and be accountable as a one-stop-shop to address all partnership issues.
- Ensure seamless end-to-end experience for joint customers, working with stakeholders to identify and address partnership challenges and issues.
- Jointly work with partner airline to expand product offering, leverage respective strengths to achieve shared business objectives.
- Identify potential commercial partnership opportunities, manage end to end negotiations with airline partners and deliver viable business case to derive incremental revenue value.
- Ensure all elements of partnerships including blocks space, codeshare route network, scope, settlement, inventory class mapping, legal, operational matters and regulatory aspects are effectively implemented to the strategic plan, and constantly reviewed to negotiate the best commercial partnership proposition for Emirates.
- Continuously monitor the Codeshare Partnership portfolio to ensure strategic and tactical network revenue goals and cost objectives are delivered.
- Track and report on partnership performance and KPIs, observe areas of concern and coordinate with relevant stakeholder to ensure prompt corrective action.
- In collaboration with Corporate Communications Marketing and Brand develop joint marketing and promotional activities with partners within the framework of the partnership.
- Align with Emirates’ commercial objectives by securing required inventory access on partner services beyond all key online gateways at optimum price to maximise revenue retention.
