Northrop Grumman’s Corporate organization is seeking a skilled a dynamic and experienced ServiceNow Operations and Strategic Projects Manager. This role involves overseeing a team of 10-15 ServiceNow developers and business process consultants. The manager will be responsible for resource management and forecasting for approximately 40 individuals. As part of this team, you will need to be a self-starter functioning in a fast-paced agile environment, and able to adapt as innovations occur. Your Northrop Grumman journey will have you working across organizations within Corporate and our customer-facing sectors to identify solutions to help realize the ServiceNow benefits to our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management operating within an Agile SAFe framework.
This is a remote/virtual position. The work location can change, based upon business conditions.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a team of ServiceNow developers in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions
- Mentor, coach and supervise the team of developers and business process consultants by overseeing team projects and defining work assignments.
- Build and drive the culture of sharing amongst the team and serve as the advocate for development initiatives.
- Work with ServiceNow SAFe ART PM’s and business leaders to understand business initiatives.
- Utilize agile methodology including participating in PI planning, sprint planning and review meetings.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budget to ensure successful project completion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure the deployment of high-quality, scalable, and secure ServiceNow applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow features and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, business, or related discipline (4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree) with 8 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience and 5 years of management experience leading projects/programs with direct reports.
- Strong and proven experience in project management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to research new technologies for solution creation.
- Self-starter with an ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government up to a Top Secret SCI w/poly security clearance, if necessary.
- Solid organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple changing priorities.
- Great attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills.
- Strong collaboration and team dynamics.
- Ability to travel, on occasion, to support different locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with and leading various modules/teams within ServiceNow
- A passion for advising and guiding business customers and other IT leaders on how to get the most out of ServiceNow and for learning the latest product features
- ServiceNow Certification
- Active PMP Certification
- Cloud architecture and integration Experience
- Active US Government security clearance
- Experience with SAFe Agile methodology
- An active SAFe or Agile certification
Salary Range: $142,200 - $213,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
