Job Description:

Under the direction of the Manager, FalconCare and Warranty Programs and the Director of the department, the Manager, FalconCare Program, is responsible for the adjudication of FalconCare claims following contractual obligations and doing so in a cost-effective and timely manner. This position provides technical expertise to all FalconCare program Administrators, and reviews and approves claims/invoices taking into account, contractual, technical, and commercial considerations in order to fairly represent the true cost of the Program.

This position is responsible for minimizing total claim adjudication process time, improving customer experience with the FalconCare program while minimizing cost.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Manage the team of FalconCare program administrators
  • Properly assign available resources to pending workload
  • Thoroughly review Service Center invoices and FalconCare customer claims to make sure FalconCare is charged correctly (i.e., request warranty coverage, recover expenses for commercial programs, and decline unreasonable charges when applicable)
  • Review and approve FalconCare expenses (invoices and claims)
  • Assist with making final decision when admin team is in disagreement with ASC’s
  • Act as liaison between

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Ensure FalconCare Procedure Manuals are maintained and up to date
  • Participate in FalconCare strategy meetings
  • Assist in the year-end activities including calculation of maintenance accruals
  • Share labor hour experience (ASC feedback) as it relates to task and inspection flat rates
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a technical focus; preferably in aviation or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience maintaining business aviation aircraft
  • Ability to understand French/Spanish
  • Ten years of aviation maintenance experience
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • One (1) year in a Service Organization with commercial programs experience
  • Pro-active approach to problem-solving
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant Technician license
  • Familiar with FAA regulations such as Part 145, 91 and 135.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products and PC Windows business software
  • Demonstrated Leadership abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to clearly transfer technical and financial principles to both internal and external customers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in business process design and improvement

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience maintaining business aviation aircraft
  • Ability to understand French/Spanish
