What are your contributions to the team?
- Support and collaborate with the finance business partners across multiple manufacturing sites to bring insight into the labor and overhead process and results.
- Plan coordinate and support month end, forecast, budget, strategic planning processes and deliverables, including variance analysis.
- Support internal and external audits for multiple manufacturing sites.
- Recommend and implement adequate controls to evaluate and detect financial risks.
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting policies, controls and procedures.
- Supervise a team of 6 financial analysts and support their personal development plan.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and have ten (10) years of relevant experience including employee supervision.
- You hold a professional accountant designation (CPA) or equivalent experience.
- You have excellent technical and analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information.
- You have an interest in the improvement and development of business processes.
- You are a team player, you demonstrate innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and you are able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
- You have knowledge of SAP and Power BI (asset)
- You are bilingual in both spoken and written.
