Breeze is hiring- join us!The Manager, Fuel Sourcing & Operations for Breeze Airways is a highly motivated and detail-oriented member of the finance team that is responsible for commercial and operational oversight of fuel supply and into-plane fueling for Breeze Airways. They will collaborate across departments to support the airline’s growing network and operations. The Manager, Fuel Sourcing & Operations will need to have a solid understanding of the entire jet fuel supply chain and fuel spanets, a process-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate well with senior management.
Heres what youll do- Lead fuel sourcing/operations to meet the organization’s operational needs. This position ensures appropriate resource allocation, contract compliance, and risk management, driving high standards in fuel sourcing/operations while supporting overall organizational goals.
- Conduct RFPs for jet fuel supply, with a view on reliability, cost and synergies with each supplier
- Manage multiple airport Into-Plane (ITP) Fueling contracts. Conduct RFPs for new ITP providers at certain locations.
- Oversee and manage fueling services contracts, including negotiating terms, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors for fuel storage and ITP services. Monitor supplier performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality and reliable service delivery, addressing any issues promptly to maintain operational standards, ensure that contract obligations are met, operational requirements are fulfilled, and performance aligns with company expectations.
- Oversee budgeting and financial tracking for all fuel service fees, ensuring transparency and control over expenses. Build a fuel audit function to validate invoices, authorize consortium contracts, and resolve billing issues, providing clear variance explanations to senior management
- Report to the VP Treasury & Supply Chain and regularly interface with IOCC, Airports, Finance, Legal and Corporate Real Estate.
- Document best practice processes and identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by senior management

Heres what youll need to be successfulMinimum Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Operations, or other equivalent experience
- 3+ years of fuel management, airport real estate or related experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- High commitment to quality, patience, and diplomacy, with the ability to navigate complex processes and relationships.
