As a Global Supply Chain - Manager Level 3 (Senior Manager), located in Redondo Beach, CA youll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
This role reports to the Director Global Supply Chain Program Management within the Military Space Systems & Special Technology Products Business Units within Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD). In this role, the incumbent selected will be required to serve in both direct and matrix leadership roles to GSC employees, with responsibilities to include job scope assignment, performance management and career coaching/development.
In this job, you will:
- Lead weekly material coordination meetings with engineering leadership; coordination between GSC and program engineering as priorities evolved
- Program leadership & guidance of GSC enabling functions (Procurement, Subcontracts, Material Management, Commodity Engineering, etc.)
- Creation, maintenance, improvement, and oversight of relevant program GSC metrics to track acquisition status & GSC performance
- Create, track, and manage GSC related risks and opportunities; look at risk factors (industry knowledge, Supplier Management ratings, SAMS/Scorecards, Commodity Engineering capacity reports etc.) to identify acquisition risks and effectively bring those to program attention via the program Risk/Opportunity process
- Effectively tracking multiple issues simultaneously through the GSC processes; presentations and concise reporting/tracking of issues to IPTs & Program Office
- Manage supply chain acquisitions for program: 1) Analyze future demand needs and work with engineering and Advance Planning to ensure timely recording of demands; accounting for GSC acquisition span times (supplier and GSC processing); 2) Proactively track, coordinate, status material orders, especially high priority procurements from drawing release through kitting; 3) Work with manufacturing SPMs and MPS to coordinate reasonable set-back schedules based on expected On Dock Dates
- Support and provide GSC inputs to frequent program proposal activities including ECPs, NTEs, BPEs, REAs and customer what-if efforts
- Work with subcontract administrators and subcontract management leads to satisfy leadership data requests and priorities
- Support to Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) including lien requests, reviews, parts obsolescence, material status, etc.
- Problem solver that effectively works with cross functional/org teams
- Lead and/or provide inputs to Business team including GSC EVMS Control Account Management and/or support as needed

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience including people management experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience including people management experience
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or Top-Secret clearance in-scope (investigation within last 5 years) with ability to obtain Special Compartmented Information (SCI) Access
- Ability to develop, utilize, and apply data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Basic knowledge & familiarity with SAP
- Familiarity with Aerospace Materials and Processes (M&P) and associated suppliers
- Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active SSBI DoD clearance with SCI access at time of application
- Facility and experience working in SAP/ERP systems
- Experience supporting large & unique aerospace programs
- Demonstrated flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Experience and/or familiarity with key Northrop Grumman GSC functions
- Prior GSC PM experience
- Experienced as a CAM and/or Northrop Grumman CAM training

Salary Range: $164,300 - $246,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
