About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the best content onboard for Oryx One, taking into consideration strategy, benchspans and viewership. This job keeps abreast with trends in the entertainment arena, ensuring overall quality control and compliance.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Qatar Airways brand and target audience demographics. This includes identifying trends, analyzing competitor offerings, and forecasting future content needs.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with content providers, studios, distributors, and licensing agencies to secure high-quality and diverse entertainment options.
- Lead in the curation, selection and acquisition of entertainment content, ensuring they meet the standards of quality, diversity, and relevance. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously refresh and expand the content library.
- Utilize data analytics and passenger feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of content offerings. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize viewer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue generation.
- Responsible for overall selection and programming of entertainment content for inflight viewing, by ensuring a diverse and engaging line up of movies, TV shows, music, games, and other media to cater to the preferences of passengers. - Ensure that all entertainment content meets the standards for audio-visual quality, language, and cultural sensitivity by conducting regular reviews and audits to identify and address any content-related issues. Continuously explore opportunities to enhance the inflight entertainment experience through innovative features, interactive content, and personalized recommendations.
- Develop and manage content inflight experience budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize the return on investment. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality or variety of entertainment offerings.

Qualifications
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of job-related experience
- Deep understanding of the aviation industry, including trends and competitive landscape related to inflight entertainment content
- Good knowledge of media integration systems and IFE hardware
- Financial understanding of content licensing pricing structure and operational costs
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic language with strong communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing capabilities
- Meticulous attention to details with a focus on quality assurance and compliance
- Leadership and strategic thinking capabilities, with a proven ability to lead cross functional and multi-cultural teams in a fast-paced environment
