About the role

 

Manager Learning Management System & Training looks after managing the learning department within ground training. The role focuses on leading the development and delivery of all ground training learning programs to ensure enhancement of the effectiveness of all learning by utilizing latest technologies. Ensuring all operational standards are met as advised by Ground Training Management and the department remains capable of delivering a realistic level of support throughout the QR Flight Operations network by managing the smooth running, updating and introducing of new learning courseware (All Fleets), that meets the requirements as stipulated on QCAR OPS-FCL. Some responsibilities of this role include:

 

·       Plan, develop and initiate all Ground Training learning technology and development needs for various departments within QR flight operations.

·       Review existing learning methods as per industry standards, research latest technological advancements in order to improve delivery of ground training learning on all platforms by implementing new processes for learning development and delivery ensuring that they are aligned with regulatory bodies such as IATA, IOSA, GCAA and QCAA.

·       Develop and maintain an effective learning technology and development strategy applicable to ground training.

·       Selecting, leading, developing, controlling and managing a core team of learning and Development Professionals which include Learning Officers, Learning Specialists and Learning Analysts, in the development and enhancement of all ground training learning programs.

·       Auditing and evaluating the learning content and programs on all platforms for any discrepancies. Ensuring necessary changes are implemented or advice is provided; in order to maintain the quality and effectiveness of all ground training learning material and content.

Qualifications

 About you 

High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience

OR

With a Degree: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related

experience

 

Essential

·       Minimum of 5 years airline job-related experience

·       Good managerial and administrative skills

·       Excellent computer skills with a strong practical approach to solving problems

·       Aircraft technical and operational knowledge

·       Good communication abilities with an excellent command of spoken and written English language.

·       Adaptable and agile when considering new approaches with a High degree of attention to detail.

·       Ability to interact I communicate well and work with a dynamic team under strict deadlines.

·       Consistent and assertive people management skills with a collaborative approach.

·       Excellent professional presence, strong facilitation skills, analytical capacity & positive attitude.
