Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Manager of Security and Onboarding Compliance position will oversee daily onboarding compliance and security components to all candidates being employed by the company, and manage compliance with regulatory bodies.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide Leadership to Supervisor or Onboarding Compliance, and Supervisor of DOT Compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all PRIA regulations.
- Directly manage PRD compliance.
- Monitor and ensure the FAA-Approved Drug and Alcohol Testing Program is in compliance
- Ensure the random testing program is conducted in accordance with industry best practices.
- Including quarterly QC Document Checks as part of the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP).
- Monitor all security and compliance issues to stay abreast of identifying trends in order to take appropriate steps to improve effectiveness as it relates to onboarding compliance.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk with assistance from IEP and SMS Programs.
- Actively participate in PSA Airlines emergency events per Emergency Response Program.
- Assist in developing and implementing enhanced security and onboarding compliance related policies and procedures.
- Organize, review, and ensure proper email dissemination of all Security Directives, Information Circulars, TSA Guidance Material and all other security documents to appropriate departments within PSA Airlines.
- Manage and maintain company compliance with regulatory employee vetting programs, to include AEV and KCM.
- Assists all departments in maintaining compliance with all standards established by regulatory bodies and PSA Airlines.
- Assists in developing and implementing enhanced safety / security compliance related policies and procedures.
- Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
- Conduct audits as required by TSA including but not limited to: Badging audits, KCM audits, and CHRC audits.
- Collaborates with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
- Provides guidance to mitigate vulnerability risk.
- Conduct trend analysis to monitor drug and alcohol testing, onboarding compliance and security pertinent to the onboarding process.
- Publish monthly and yearly drug and alcohol, onboarding compliance and security summary reports.
- Ensures proper reporting of violations or potential violations as appropriate and / or required.
- Provides reports as directed or requested by the President or company senior management.
- Responsible for the Companys Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Specifics
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Has two years of leadership experience in an administrative role at an airline.
- Working knowledge of DOT drug and alcohol program, hiring and employment compliance.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Bachelors degree in a safety-related field or aviation.
Additional Information
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Assistant Director of Security and Compliance.
Authorities: None.
Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.
