Reporting to the Director, Methods, Industrialization and MP&C, the Manager, Industrialization, plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the manufacturing strategy of the organization, focusing on driving production efficiency, implementing transformative projects, and fostering innovation in aerospace manufacturing. This leadership position requires a strong technical and leadership acumen, with a commitment to continuous improvement and alignment with company objectives. You will be key to delivering innovative solutions that meet stringent industry standards and customer expectations. This position will be based out of our Calgary, AB office.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Manufacturing Leadership
- Develop and implement the organization’s manufacturing strategy for aircraft parts and assemblies to meet long-term operational goals.
- Lead the design and optimization of manufacturing cells, plant layouts, facility upgrades and production flow to ensure world-class efficiency and quality.
- Oversee and govern projects aligned with the company’s Make vs. Buy strategies, including introduction of new machines and technologies, ensuring alignment with business cases and organizational goals.
- Drive the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and processes to maintain competitive advantage.
- Benchspan industry best practices and integrate them into the organization’s operations.
Project Management & Oversight
- Provide governance, oversight, and leadership for transformative projects that enhance production capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and objectives are met, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Methods, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure project alignment.
- Use an agile problem solving approach to quickly identify and address complex challenges in aircraft manufacturing.
Team Leadership & Development

Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing or Industrialization, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing systems, engineering systems, and aircraft production.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex manufacturing projects with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, project management frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in the identification and integration of new manufacturing technologies and innovations.
