Travelbag is a leading long haul B2C brand and part of the dnata Travel Group UK portfolio of travel businesses. Due to an internal promotion, we’re excited to be recruiting for a new Managing Director (MD)
Having undertaken a rebrand in 2019, Travelbag has built solid foundations within its target segment. Our new MD will take this to the next level and accelerate our growth and profitability.
The successful candidate will be entirely responsible for the delivery of profit targets, overseeing day to day operations and trading alongside shaping the brand’s future strategic vision, focusing on high levels of service and excellent customer satisfaction, loyalty metrics accelerating growth and profitability.
Leading a direct team across Sales, Marketing, Destination Product, Technical Product & Commercial and working in a matrix structure with shared services in Finance, People & Culture and IT, there will responsibility for optimising all sales distribution channels. This includes multi-channel proposition with high street retail presence, a transactional website, and a network of sales homeworkers.

The Travelbag MD role forms part of the UK Management Board and will work with fellow board colleagues and the Group CEO. The drive to collaborate across our diverse brand portfolio and shared services to innovate with the agility to exploit new opportunities for growth and investment initiatives will be core to the success of this role.
