Description:You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager for Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for adding to the value stream of multiple product lines that support programs across the MFC portfolio. We measure our success through safety, quality, cost, and schedule metrics.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include:
•Leading a team of supervisors, support team members, and technicians (including machinists, assemblers, welders, and painters) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•Managing team staffing including coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, cross training, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
•Collaborating with a cross-functional team including engineering, quality, maintenance, facilities, and safety to execute on core metrics of quality, cost, and schedule.
•Driving a continuous improvement mindset and work environment with a focus on meeting customer requirements and business objectives in the areas of safety, quality, affordability, and deliveries.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
•Leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
•Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint.
•Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
•Ability to create and utilize metrics to drive business performance.
•Experience in working with facilities teams and capital project management.
•Understanding and experience with collective bargaining agreements and working in a union environment.
•Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including SAP and Apriso.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
