Description:Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (LM MFC) Ocala Operations is actively seeking a motivated, forward-thinking, and technologically adept Operations Leader for our dynamic manufacturing environment. As the Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer relations, cost, technical aspects, and schedules within the Auto Processes (AP) areas, including coating, plated through hole, surface mount technology, and wire preparation. Your primary objective will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality hardware to our customers while fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee all aspects of Auto Processes (AP) areas, including coordination with Program Managers, Engineering, Quality, and other teams to meet customer requirements and enhance operational efficiency.

-Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and teamwork within the team and across LM MFC Ocala Operations.

-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.

-Uphold compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

This position is located at a facility that requires the candidate to be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
-Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines & production demands in a complex and dynamic union manufacturing environment.
-Experience developing business strategies and tactical plans to achieve production objectives: Quality, cost, schedule, and staffing.
-Previous experience leading teams.
-Experience in Lean Manufacturing to include Continuous Improvement efforts for cost reduction and performance improvement
-Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
-Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Desired Skills:
-Masters degree in a related field
-CAM trained
-Black Belt certified
-Previous manufacturing engineering and/or quality experience
-Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from within all levels of Lockheed Martin.
-Experience in SAP and MFC Manufacturing systems
-Strong decision making, problem solving and organizational skills
-Experience with Ocala Operations

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
