You will be the Manufacturing Planner Manager for the PAC-3 development programs within Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for making sure all materials are at the right place at the right time to produce end products for our customers.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Manager, you will be responsible for managing other leaders who are responsible for manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. These may include but are not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping. Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing production systems integrity and driving inventory optimization to minimize cost.
• Developing integrated operating plans.
• Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Previous leadership experience
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of SAP, and MS programs.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, and internal and external customers.
• Related experience in MRP and ERP systems.
• Experience assigning/managing projects to organizational unit by leading team of managers and/or staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive operational issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage functional leaders in creating, monitoring and reporting on all executive operations metrics.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance. An Interim Secret is required prior to starting.
Desired Skills:
• Experience supporting MMAS (Material Management and Accounting System).
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) extensive user experience or implementation.
• Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire Production supply chain.
• Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus / (Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred).
• Experience managing scalable Ground/Interceptor/Post-Production /Development efforts.
• Experience working Program proposals to establish labor budgets.
• Previous experience successfully creating, leading, and sustaining a data driven culture.
• Proven ability to build and lead cross functional teams to maximizing output.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
