A vacancy within the Market Intelligence & Consulting (MIC) team has arisen at Airbus. After an
initial training period in Toulouse you will be based in our Delhi office (India). You will join the MIC team, which represents 15 people, and pioneer the future of air transport.

MIC’s mission is to consolidate Airbus’ global market understanding to anticipate and shape future business. The team provides internal and external consultancy to support commercial decision making and aircraft/service product development. As such, MIC influences stakeholders’ strategies (airlines, lessors, airports, Airbus…).


The successful applicant will lead market trends analysis and define the overall market landscape evolution (business models, economics, traffic, fleet and network planning).


He or she will also work with business units to shape medium to long-term customer account strategies, and deliver presentations in the frame of airline sales campaigns.

The successful applicant will report to one of the Principals co-leading the team.

Tasks & accountabilities


Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:


Support commercial teams on the definition of their global account strategies


Fleet and Network Planning analysis to demonstrate the best value of the Airbus solution during sales campaigns


Market analyses supporting commercial decision making, product development and the definition of the company strategy


Taking an active role in the definition of the marketing vision, the executive view of market trends evolutions and how they will impact Airbus’ commercial activities based on market feedbacks, marketing plans and five years sales plans


Conducting data analyses and translating them into air transport market trends, models and tools

You will be called upon to deliver presentations and analyses to executives at airlines and Airbus. This role involves regular travel worldwide.


Airline experience
~You have a minimum of 5 (five) years of working experience at an airline, in:
- network planning
- fleet planning
- revenue management
- corporate controlling
