The Materials Supervisor reports to the Material Operations Manager and is responsible to manage the Hangar and Line Stores, and is accountable for the safe handling and processing of aircraft Materials, Tooling and Equipment as required by the company according to regulatory requirements and best practices. To ensure the effective communication and application of company values and behavioral standards in accordance with the FEAM company manual.
Job Duties:
Perform supervisory responsibilities and directs work for a team of 25 or more, fostering a culture of collaboration, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provide operational guidance to staff and ensure training and compliance with policies and procedures related to processes, safety, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g. FAA, DOT, IATA, Federal, State, and local).
Monitor and report on sustaining activities, projects, and levels of customer service for material receiving, storage and distribution.
Ensure accurate records are maintained in accordance with company policies, the Repair Station Manual, and applicable regulations.
Identify data and systems requirements to support ongoing and future operation of warehousing and distribution.
Meet with vendors and carriers to ensure effective performance of contract items and deliverables.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, errors, and payment issues.
Review, revise, and develop procedures to comply with regulatory requirements, repair station manual, and company policies.
Perform special projects to include inventory monitoring and accuracy, shelf-life monitoring, and effective turnover measurement.
Prepare capital requests as required.
Prepare and presents accurate and timely reports to management on areas of responsibility.
Accountable for safe and compliant material handling, receiving inspections, paperwork and data entry, storage, and overall inventory management in accordance with FAA regulations, FEAM and customer policies and procedures.
Support all policies, goals, and objectives of the company, and will represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

High School Diploma required; higher-level education in supply chain preferred
4+ years’ experience in warehousing, distribution, or related roles with a focus in aviation required.
3+ years of experience in a Supervisory role responsible for inventory, warehousing, distribution or related functions preferred.
Ability to understand and interpret aircraft technical data.
Must possess strong logistics acumen and a highly professional demeanor.
Previous airline or MRO experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organization and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to take personal responsibility for a team and demonstrate delivery.
Must have excellent prioritization, organization, and decision-making skills.
Must be able to work with an accountable, positive, and professional attitude.
