Mission Manager - Mid Level

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a Mission Manager, one of your primary duties will be to serve as a dedicated trainer for applications that support the customer. Some of your additional duties will include customer organization to modernize the provision, tracking, and management of operational content that combines experience in programming and analytic expertise to build a user-focused solution that enables awareness and decision making across the organization.

  • Work directly with the end users of an application to focus on problem sets at the tactical and strategic levels to gain a thorough understanding of data integration and visualization to support the operations/intelligence fusion process.
  • Provide formal system introductory training for customer personnel in a classroom and virtual setting as well as all required desk-side assistance and advanced training.
  • Work directly with customers and mission managers to overcome technical challenges and implement and monitor custom solutions to improve organizational performance.
  • Use collaborative approach to build expertise through the curation, storage and sharing of information and workflow processes.
  • Evaluate organization objectives and ensure there are business processes in place to accomplish requirements.
  • Documentation emergent capabilities for the client and create and contribute to future functionality and enhancements.
  • Promote knowledge sharing between information owners/users through an organizations operational processes and disparate systems.
  • Design, build, implement, and maintain a knowledge management framework that provides end-users access to the organizations intellectual capital
  • Ensure cross organizational awareness of operational processes and applications to maximize institutional knowledge and cohesive SOP creation and maintenance.
  • Use data science and data integration to better visualization information to support operations. Work closely with other mission managers as well as customer program managers to ensure available tools, applications and data are available to all customers and organization.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • 9+ years of professional experience with a Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of professional experience with a Masters degree or equivalent
  • Additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS clearance
  • Have experience in facilitating formal training classes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the analytic employment of IC query tools and knowledge management platforms.
  • Initiative to work independently with minimal guidance to identify requirements, complete essential tasks, and represent client’s interest to a larger enterprise.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the intelligence process to compile, collate, analyze, produce, and evaluate all-source intelligence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, keep accurate and up-to-date administrative records and project and maintain active training records.
  • Basic experience with basic data science tools and fundamentals.
  • Understand the customers’ workflows and prioritize requirements.
  • Familiarity with using collaboration software (Jira, Confluence, etc.) to organize, manage, and document project work in conjunction with disparate teams and tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain SCI with Poly.

Telework Availability: Telework/Remote is possible depending on customer needs.

Work Location: Elkridge, MD; Washington, DC; Reston, VA; Annapolis Junction, MD.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$135,000- $170,000
