Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX, as a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Associate Manager (Level 4). As the Associate Manager of Component Final Finishes (CFF), you will oversee the production performance of coated parts that support the F-35 build teams. This role requires leading the integration of complex schedules, coatings processes, and supporting functional organizations to meet production requirements.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Leadership and Management:
• Lead and oversee Supervisors, Technical Leads, and manufacturing activities, including facilities and capital planning, tool utilization, manufacturing plans, workflows, and crew loading.
• Assign work priorities to manufacturing planning, manufacturing engineers, industrial engineers, quality engineers, production control, and inspection teams.
• Manage direct, indirect, and allocated Business Unit Budgets.

Production and Performance Management:
• Utilize earned value management tools to manage and track production task execution.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of aircraft records.
• Drive the overall strategy and execution of manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with budget and schedule targets.
• Coordinate with manufacturing engineering to provide technical guidance to employees and optimize staffing, line analysis, and planning.

Quality and Compliance:
• Verify that products meet all quality and compliance requirements through rigorous inspections and tests.
• Ensure tooling, workplace layouts, and staffing align with cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, schedule, and cost efficiency.
• Reinforce a culture that prioritizes Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention.
• Ensure certification of employees performing tasks that require certification.

Safety and Work Environment:
• Provide and maintain a safe work environment, taking corrective action to address unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company and F-35 program policies and procedures.
• Adhere to defined Core processes, submitting changes or exceptions as necessary for program-specific processes.

Employee Coordination and Development:
• Oversee employee recruitment, training, performance management, and work assignments.
• Conduct annual performance assessments for salaried employees.

• Previous low observable (LO) coatings experience, previous experience in a complex fabrication environment.

• Ability to manage, coach, train, &/or motivate team in technical and leadership development.

• Problem solving, root cause, corrective action, and continuous improvement.

• Strong presentation skills and speaking skills as well as the ability to address complex matters and solutions with senior leadership.

• Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization, support organizations, customers, and governmental oversight organizations.

• Previous experience in leadership over aircraft assembly in the disciplines of structure/ electrical/ system check out.

• Previous experience as a leader in a Culture of Accountability.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
