As a Network Training Manager, here is what you’ll be doing at the core, day to day.
- Providing support to the customer, employees, and training department
- Oversight of each training department and entire process; coordinators, instruction, curriculum development, and meeting the needs of specific customer training with undue burden to operations. Additionally, remaining current with changes in the Repair Station Manual, Customer Requirements, and specific customers concerns addressed as they arise.
- Work directly with the departments to create cohesive, comprehensive, and forward-thinking approaches to keeping content relevant and current – i.e., development of instruction along a multi-faceted approach, emphasizing practical learning.
- Address the growing need for virtual learning and an autonomous system for inputting and delivering instruction through an LMS platform.
- Building relationships with additional outside vendors and representation from all aspects of aviation industry for employee development, growth, and curriculum development
- Curriculum development and planning experience
- Service on outside boards and committees for company or non-profit efforts
- Grant writing – FAA grant writing procedures and processes/developing with others in the organization for employee growth and development.
- Working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application.
- Working knowledge of content development, pacing guides, employee mentoring and development
Here’s what is required to succeed as a Network Training Manager.
- Associate degree (preferred)
- 10 years related work experience in aviation and /or formal instructor training experience.
- Thorough knowledge of instructional techniques and oversight of completed training as well as prior instructional experience.
- 5 years of employee management, evaluation, and oversight experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge in a variety of office software programs to participate in the development, revision and delivery of training material and presentations.
- Experience with community outreach and relationship building with organizations, non-profits, and outside support groups.
