This is an exciting role as Operations manager to lead a team of Operations Controllers who operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year offering essential support to our Brokers globally. The Operations Manager will provide structured leadership to motivate, mentor and train the team in a challenging and busy operational environment.

Job Description

The Operations Manager duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage day to day Operations department communications to brokers and clients.
  • Producing, maintaining and publishing monthly roster for OCC team.
  • Internal Auditing Operations team and externally auditing with brokers worldwide.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with brokers worldwide.
  • Working with Customer Experience teams to mitigate issues
  • Engaging with Customer experience manager when issues arise
  • Measuring and recording Team KPI’s and divisional flight statistics.
  • Submit weekly&xa0;KPI’s and flight statistics reports to board members.
  • Recruitment and training of Operations staff.
  • Monthly worldwide training of new brokers
  • Producing, review and maintain development of Operations training manuals and checklists.
  • Liaising with brokers and flight services to ensure flights are handed over accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring, reviewing and maintaining Operations Mayfly (Charter flying programme).

Shift Pattern:&xa0;Monday-Friday (some weekends required) 8.5 hours daily, &xa0;hours to work around managing a 24/7 team

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in customer service
  • Previous experience Managing teams on a 24/7 roster basis
  • Flexibility to be available out of hours in accordance with a 24/7 team
  • Flight Operations experience highly desired
  • Experienced in assisting with system improvements and change management 
  • Ambition, drive and self-motivation  
  • Confidence in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English is essential; a second language is an advantage
  • Ability to thrive working under pressure
  • A high sense of urgency 
  • Determination to achieve results and exceed goals
