What are your contributions to the team?
- Adhere to general Bombardier Work Requirements
- Supervise modification team personnel in performance of daily activities
- Provide training when required.
- Manage interior projects through all phases of activity
- Act as customer point of contact for all projects and resolution of aircraft issues
- Develop team and strategy plan for the future development of interior / modifications business
- Inspect interior, quote and issue proposals for interior shop work
- Plan (create W / O and SVO’s) and coordinate vendors, order parts, materials and data for interior projects
- Cover for Booth Planner as needed
- Cultivate and maintain a local vendor base and inspect periodically for quality of service
- Coordinate local customer drop-ins and mobile repairs
How to thrive in this role?
- Typically a minimum of 5+ years of experience in performing aircraft interior modifications, which must include 2 years of supervisory or lead experience
- A&P or Repairman Certificate
- Inerpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments
- Confident in resolution of stressful situations
- Working knowledge of a variety of computer software programs (i.e. SAP, AMS, Pivotal, Microsoft Office)
- College technical degree preferred (2 year degree or higher)
