An opportunity for an Supply Chain Operations Manager Services has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).

CONTEXT

The vacancy is offered in the Cross-Programme Planning and Business Performance organization (BX). As part of Programmes & Services function, BX organisation is ensuring Project/Program management culture and methods based on 4 pillars:

  • support projects and programmes management

  • lead cross programmes or cross functions projects

  • drive portfolio for business performance

  • Project and Programme management center of competences

As Project Management Business Partner, your role will be to support the program by providing efficient project management processes, steering, control and reporting, allowing decision-making at the highest level of the Programme.

The position is based in Spain and you will be integrated in a local Project Management team in Getafe. The duration of this position is 6 months.


Accountabilities

With a diverse internal customers that belong to aircraft Programmes and other functions of the company (Procurement, support services, Sustainability, Corporate functions…), the jobholder will support the Project Manager to set-up or recover the Project by adding value and making an immediate positive impact in the early phase of the project.

Main accountabilities and responsibilities as Project Manager Business Partner are:

  • Anticipating issues and risks of the project and proposing mitigation plans and opportunities.

  • Proposing solutions for efficient project management.

  • Reporting to project boards by providing adequate indicators and analysis (KPI, Dashboard,etc.), multi-functional schedule, cost and resource plans, managing many interdependencies.

  • Deploying Project Management processes, methods and tools and easing best PM practices sharing within the PM community (including feedback, lessons learnt).

  • Identifying any deviations from project baseline and proposing preventive and corrective actions. He/she is in charge of the action follow-up.

  • Promoting the Airbus PM Culture across the organisation and leading by example.

  • Contribute to Central PM Office collaboration for ZEROe Programme overall consolidation (governance, planning, EVM management, Risks and opportunities…)

  • Reports & documentation preparation & updates

  • Database creation

  • Workshops preparation

  • Meeting preparation, reporting and dashboard.

  • Project baselining

  • Risks & Opportunities management

  • Project Monitoring & Control

  • Projects follow up meetings

  • Stakeholder Management

Competences/skills requested

We are looking for young talents that are enthusiastic about their work and passionate about the issues that the aerospace industry is facing. The candidates should feature the following competences:

  • Negotiation level in English.

  • Travel availability

  • Engineer with PM experience and Airbus background

  • Knowledge in Project management.

  • Good communication and negotiation skills (stakeholders’ management)

  • Capability to adapt, to be reactive and to take initiatives.

  • Flexible to work autonomously and to collaborate with a team.
