As the leader of the payroll team in France, the Payroll Manage will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for employees in France. Based in Charles De Gaulle, Paris, France, you will lead payroll initiatives, manage day-to-day partner relationships, and collaborate with unions, suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimise processes and ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency. The Payroll Manager France will lead and actively manage the local payroll team.

Reporting to the Group Head of Payroll, you will play a key role in the payroll team, which consists of specialists covering all countries where easyJet has a base, including the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Portugal, and Spain.

What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking a qualified individual to oversee our payroll operations with precision and efficiency. This role entails ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll services in alignment with country legislation, leading rule-based processes, and providing expert transaction processing. As the main point of contact for France, collaboration with local teams, industrial relations, and People Service teams is crucial. Responsibilities include facilitating union meetings, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing projects, and overseeing the local payroll team. Attention to detail is essential, as this role involves resolving queries, maintaining accurate reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage workload effectively are vital. What you’ll need to do the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with excellent knowledge of French payroll legislation, processes, and policies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with unions, fostering positive relationships, and applying local payroll legislation effectively. Confidence and credibility in representing Payroll to business stakeholders, HR teams, and unions are essential, along with proven experience in managing high-volume and complex payroll operations with precision and compliance. Proficiency in HR Business Partnering Model, along with strong IT skills, including proficiency in systems such as Workday, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Right Now, is required. Multilingual proficiency in English and French is a must to effectively communicate across the easyJet network. The ability to travel as needed and a professional, empathic demeanour in handling sensitive situations are also crucial.

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role, 35 hours will be based in CDG, Paris with frequent travel across the network.
