We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the transnational Reward Group Schemes and Benefits team at Airbus as Pension Manager.  In this specialist role, you will work across all three of our divisions including Airbus Commercial Aircraft, Defence and Space and Helicopters.

How Airbus rewards employees is hugely important to us and our compensation and benefits strategy is crucial in order to attract and retain the best talent available. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading a team to manage and implement the core benefits policies in the UK in collaboration with HR Directors, Finance, Labour relations, and benefits administration services. If successful, you will be working closely on a day to day basis with a friendly and collaborative wider HR function amongst others to deliver.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Manage a team of five employees.

  • Set up our Airbus UK pension schemes ensuring a fair offer for our employees.

  • Manage the relationship with the Trustees, succession planning and representing the company at the Trustee board.

  • Monitoring providers (direct or indirect selected by the Trustees), annual budget definition and follow up.

  • Production of clear and concise communication across a variety of platforms to inform employees on benefits including pension.

  • Support our Labour relations team (SPIR) with negotiations on new schemes and plan amendments in the UK.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong expertise in UK pensions covering DB, DC, Master trust, liability management and legal framework and an understanding of the basics of actuarial valuations.

  • You will have experience in managing a team of individuals at varied experience levels.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills enabling you to communicate on complex, technical concepts in a clear manner to both experts and non experts.
