Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Be responsible for People management and consultancy for Lufthansa Technik Group in Canada, including Lufthansa Technik locations in Calgary and Montreal
- Serve as People Management’s strategic and operational business partner for Lufthansa Technik’s regional Executive Management
- Steer and implement global and regional Lufthansa Technik People strategies related to all Lufthansa Technik locations in Canada
- Guide, challenge and facilitate the business expansion of the Lufthansa Technik Group in the region from a People strategic perspective
- Develop, execute and monitor quality and performance indicators (KPI’s); measure services received from internal and external service providers
* Perform any other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
The ideal People Manager must fulfill the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree desirable
- At least 4 years of relevant professional senior People (HR) Consultancy and/or Management experience in Canada required
- Regional experience desired
- Strong experience in dealing with Senior Management on VP level and above required
- Aviation / MRO Industry experience advantageous
- Leadership skills are desirable but not required in the beginning
- Fluency in English and French language required
- German language desirable
- Knowledge in HR management; Comp & Ben; Employee relations and recruitment required
- Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Success Factors as user
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must possess permit to work in Canada
