We are currently recruiting for the Embedded Service Manager supporting for the Kuwait Air Force (KAF). This position is based in Kuwait located at the Mubarak Air Base, embedded with the C17 and C130 Squadrons. The service manager is responsible in providing continuous education on how to use the product/solution(s), on-going consultation on how to best use the product to meet the customer’s goals, and by governing all the support activity throughout the life cycle of the solutions/software the customer has purchased from us.
Again, in this role you will be responsible for delivering Military Embedded Services by being stationed within the customer’s operation as an individual/sole contributor located at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. You will develop a thorough understanding of the customer’s workflow and specific operational requirements becoming a subject matter expert in support of the solution.
At all times the primary goal is for the service manager is to proactively protect the integrity of the customer’s flight planning / operations while using our solutions (safety, compliance, and efficiencies).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide day to day SME support to the operation and governance of the Jeppesen scoped product solutions / services and training.
- Organise and deliver Jeppesen/DAS scoped product solutions training to the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) User, Manager and Administrator levels.
- Support aviation working groups as applicable.
- Maintain SME level awareness of the flight planning, and related product solutions, and technology.
- Provide remote or on-site problem-solving assistance.
- Oversees the support and delivery of the scoped services.
- Flight planning data validation and support.
- Delegate and direct service tasks; monitor progress of all current and pending services requests (open a support case for each for tracking) and provide status back to the organization of ticket status (salesforce).
To be successful in this role you will need the following Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum of five years aviation experience in the field of flight planning, either in flight operational or in a flight support function.
- Aeronautical experience including Flight Deck operations, Piloting, Flight Planning (International), Aircraft Dispatch experience, Airline Operations, Military flight operations.
- Essential: Ex-military aircrew (or equivalent) experienced liaison
- Technical degree in a related field of study preferred.
- Pilot and or dispatcher License.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong Presentation Skills to C level audience
- Strong communication and customer relationship management skills
- Strong use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong use of salesforce
