Your role

Are you interested in growing your career with Ireland’s only 4 star airline? Applications are currently being invited for the role of Product Manager (Specialist Level 6) to join our Digital Experience Team. We’re the department that researches, designs and optimises performance across all digital channels, delivering experiences that generate almost 80 of revenue as well as industry leading guest experience.

 

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Loyalty this role sits within the product management group and plays a key role in the planning, design and management of delivery of the Loyalty value streams. Together with peers across commercial and technology you will have collective responsibility for delivery of the Aer Lingus digital strategy and roadmap, ensuring best in class guest experience and commercial performance.

 

Your responsibilities as Product Manager will include:

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, through collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure products ready for development with risk minimised and optimal value realised.
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes, including planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements, and product launch and beyond. 
  • End to End oversight for the product, provide key business direction and decision-making whist ensuring all stakeholders and cross-functional teams to bring a feature from inception, delivery, support and retirement
  • Ensure all features released have metrics that can be tracked to measure value  
  • Work effectively as part of the Digital Product team in Aer Lingus in a fast-moving environment including UX, UI and Analytics. 
  • Liaise with functional managers to compile budgets and business cases for Roadmap delivery 
  • Present Roadmap plans and updates to peers and senior management

Your qualifications and key criteria

  • 3+ years Product Manager or Senior Product Owner
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, UX or Technology related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts, whether technical or not, and distil into easily understandable narratives.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude when confronted with challenges
  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team and overcome obstacles to drive delivery
  • Proven track record in an agile environment and working with technical teams
  • Excellent understanding of product lifecycle and delivery
  • Capable of both questioning and offering guidance, while supporting the prioritization and execution of product features to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU
  • Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport
  • Provide 3 verifiable references
  • Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in)
