How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Program Leader, Flight Training Automation Strategy, is responsible for enabling the development and integration of technology that supports Pilot Training Planning. The position reports to a Manager in the Crew Resources organization and will partner cross-divisionally to enable operational efficiency through new and existing tools. As Program Leader of the Flight Training Automation Strategy team, you will be expected to: Help develop and execute the strategic roadmap and tactical plans for all Training Planning technology systems, ensuring cross-divisional coordination and prioritization of resources, funding and deliverables Assist with analyzing customer needs and work with IT to deliver business driven solutions Translate complicated problems and ideas into easily digestible and executable solutionsCreate, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs while also collaborating with multiple work groups to ensure we are working on the right items at the right timeChampion agile practices within Flight Training, ensuring agile best practices are followed to deliver high quality featuresMaintain a fundamental curiosity leading to questions that will enable better solutionsPrepare internal communications that include ad hoc reports, executive summaries, and formal presentations to senior leaders Ensure alignment of priorities with IFS and FOP divisions and IT teams Serve as the point of contact for Flight Training for automation initiative tracking Support the daily operation as needed, including managing other priorities against daily itemsPractice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
