We are looking for a Value Stream Leader (VSL) / Program Manager to lead all phases of the value stream within the Space Solutions department of Mission Systems.  Coordination with many organizations across Collins Aerospace and RTX will be expected as well as interaction with Government customers and contractors.

What You Will Do 

• Develop and execute business plans and strategies to grow the business as part of an overarching business strategy

• Support pursuit and order capture activities, including strategy development, customer contact and influence, proposal development, and negotiation

• Support program execution (NRE development of hardware/software and recurring sales), meeting financial, technical and schedule objectives through management of risks and opportunities

• Contribute to the development of the Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan

• Manage design to cost (DTC) goals for products to meet gross margin targets  

• Manage single source obsolescence for existing products  

• Lead complex teams with some matrixed responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering, Business Development, Operations, and fellow Value Stream Leaders to develop and leverage product line solutions and capabilities

• Lead decision making for the IPTs and apply critical thinking where incomplete data exists

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required ​

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance ​

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Active Secret or Top Secret Security Security Clearance is preferred

• Experience with military waveforms, datalinks, and/or existing software defined radio products  is preferred

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
