Job Description:

As a Program Manager at Yingling, you are responsible for overseeing assigned programs and work scope, ensuring alignment with company objectives while meeting customer expectations. The Program Manager also maintains customer satisfaction by proactively managing program deliverables, timelines, and quality standards. Provides guidance and support to subordinates, supervisors, and staff to resolve technical or operational challenges and ensure successful program execution.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support the team in executing the assigned program workflow efficiently.
  2. Collaborate with all relevant departments, including AVX, Paint, Interior, Sales, Quoting, and QA, to address and resolve issues.
  3. Assist in managing tooling and test equipment, including upkeep, control, and calibration.
  4. Participate in department hiring processes, including candidate interviews.
  5. Ensure timely resolution of work order discrepancies and communicate updates to the billing manager.
  6. Support compliance with internal and external training requirements.
  7. Assist in the preparation for and resolution of findings from internal and external audits.
  8. Contribute to the successful delivery of aircraft.
  9. Adhere to current and future company policies, safety regulations, aviation procedures, and professional work standards.
  10. Share departmental management responsibilities, including indirect supervisory duties.
  11. Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Program Manager.

Education and Experience:

  • A&P license or equivalent work experience in aviation.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • A broad overall knowledge of general aviation and aircraft systems required.
  • Current working knowledge of applicable FAA regulations to include familiarity with foreign certification requirements.
  • Must be able to read/write and speak English.

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Skills:

  • Ability to mitigate team conflict and communication problems.
  • Understands basic revenue models, P&L and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
  • Demonstrate ability to plan, coordinate and execute schedules.
  • Perform project bidding and estimating.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional manner, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.

Computer Skills:

· Microsoft Word and Excel are required, and Project is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position with less than one third of time spent working near moving parts, in high precarious places, in conditions with fumes or airborne particles, or with toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Office environment with daily interaction with all levels of management, staff, and customers.
  • Moderate noise level.
